Happy 16th Birthday James!!!

I am having a hard time believing that my baby boy is 16 years old today. It was only yesterday wasn't it that he was born. It sure feels like it.. I remember it like it was yesterday anyway. Do you remember what you were doing 16 years ago today. I was huffing and puffing, Jan was holding my hand and Mom was holding my other hand. We had been at it for hours... and each time the doctor came in to check I was hopeful that we were almost there. Of course we weren't we never got past 1cm dialation in those long 24 hours. The last time he came in there was a bit of a panic.. and I was in the OR within 15 minutes. Poor Jan and Mom left behind, Jan was able to look on from behind a window. I don't remember anything after being rolled into the OR. When I woke up I was a Mom. I had a son. He was fine and big and beautiful. That was one of the happiest moments of my life. He was there and he was fine. We had created something beautiful out of our love. Now I look at him and he is a man. Where did all the time go?? I am so proud to be his Mom and I hope he knows how much I love him.

Today is my fathers birthday and I would like to let the world know what a great guy he is. SO here goes.

March is such a busy month for birthdays... So here goes:

Back from Skiing!

We're back... We had a lovely time. The snow was not as good as we would have liked. The snow on the pista was good. Jenna decided after one day to ski and to give up snowboarding. So Jan had someone to ski with and wasn't waiting for Jenna constantly. James and Joshua had a ball. They got up early and skiied all day for most of the week. I will post pictures later this week. I have to download them and am to busy with the laundry to sit and do it now.
